The MFP Solution

The SmartLF SCi 42 mfp scanner with SmartWorks Touch MFP software is a Professional MFP Solution providing a wide format copier capable of handling a variety of color and monochrome documents up to E-size or A0 size.

The 42 inch Professional MFP Solution is capable of copying and scanning large CAD technical drawings or color office documents of the type used in architecture, engineering & manufacturing, construction, utilities, energy companies, mapping and GIS organisations. Every Professional MFP Solution comes complete with an adjustable high stand that allows the scanner to be positioned above most large format printers.

With front-feed and front-retrieve document load and capable of taking any media up to 42 inches (1067 mm) wide the Professional MFP Solution has all the productive capabilities required by most offices.  A minimal footprint allows this system to be placed against a wall to minimise floor space if desired and for a busy CAD drawing office or architects practice where space can be limited the Professional MFP Solution is the perfect answer.

Notes

Thick documents up to 2mm must be flexible. Colortrac does not guarantee quoted speeds for thick media. Thick media should be scanned at reduced speeds to obtain optimal image quality. For heavy and/or thick materials the operator may need to support the document as it enters and exits the scanner. For larger sizes of heavy and/or thick media Colortrac recommend the scanner is placed on a flat surface and the operator supports the document as it enters and exits the scanner. Colortrac recommends the Paper Return Guide is always removed when scanning heavy or thick media.

SmartWorks TOUCH MFP is intended for SCi mfp scanners and is not compatible with regular SCi scanners or the SGi scanner.

SmartWorks Touch MFP

SmartWorks Touch MFP is the only software designed to run with the SCi mfp large format scanner. Designed for use with a touch screen or conventional mouse and keyboard this software with its large, easy to use interface allows connection to any Windows printer for copying and has all of the commonly used file formats for most scan to file requirements.

Document Return Guide

SmartLF SCi 42 has an optional Document Return Guide that allows users to have scanned documents directed over the top of the scanner to the front for easy retrieval.  It also allows users to place the scanner on desktops or on Floor Stands against walls to minimize the overall footprint and to maintain the operators ease of use when space around the scanner is restricted.

Repro Stand

An alternative floor stand that holds the scanner above most popular large format printers including products from HP, Canon, Epson and other printer manufacturers.  Repro Stand conveniently holds a PC, flat screen and mini-keyboard and minimizes the combined footprint of scanner and printer creating a practical, high productivity workstation. Scanner height is adjustable through four height settings. There is no limit to the width of the printer. VESA monitor fixings as above.

Document Carrier Sheets (option)

Packed in tubes of 5 sheets.

Available in ARCH D / A1 and ARCH E / A0 size, with black or white backing sheet. Hinged on the short side.

• Scan and protect dry, ageing and/or valuable documents.
• Protect the scanner glass from documents contaminated with storage dirt and dust.
• Scan badly torn documents or documents with missing edges.
• Scan multiple lightweight and/or odd shaped originals & upholstery patterns.
• Scan transparencies more effectively.
• White backing sheet improves light reflection and scan quality.
• Black backing sheet prevents the back side image appearing underneath the image of the front side when scanning newspapers, double-sided maps and other semi-transparent originals printed on both sides.
