FUNCTION CONTROLS

SmartLF All-in-One has been designed to be uncomplicated in its layout with large easy to use buttons and clear controls

- Function Controls

    File            - sends digital version of the original to file
    Copy            - sends digital version of the original to the Windows printer
    Email            - sends digital version of the original to an email as an attachment

The function controls can be toggled on and off from the scanner keypad, or from the screen interface.

The File function has additional Preview/ Crop controls (not active with PDF files)

    Zoom        - allows operator to magnify the image in the Preview window
    Delete         - discards the current image in the viewer and decrement file number (use same filename again)
    Crop           - operator can select a rectangular area of the image in the viewer to retain
    Crop Delete - deletes the new selection
    Crop Save    - saves the cropped area of the original - see crop controls movie

NOTES:

1. SmartLF All-in-One automatically saves every file operation without user-intervention unless a file-overwrite situation is found in which case the file overwrite screen is presented. There is no button to save a file except immediately after using the Crop control.

2. SmartLF All-in-One reverts to 'Off' mode i.e. the paper animation stops running following a Crop. Restart SmartLF All-in-One from the keypad or the Function controls. During a crop operation the User Controls and Functions Controls are greyed-out and not useable until the Crop has been saved by the user.
